Jodeen Olguín-Tayler brings nearly 20 years of experience leading initiatives to build a more inclusive democracy and an economic system rooted in racial and gender equity. Having served in executive roles in movement-building organizations across the private, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors, her work has deployed organizing, civic engagement, advocacy, grantmaking, impact investments, and social entrepreneurship in pursuit of advancing systemic change.
Her success running national civic engagement programs, driving public policy campaigns, and leading coalitions has led to cross-sector recognition as an incisive strategist and campaigner, an organizer and entrepreneur, and an organizational change tactician committed to equity and inclusion. From 2019–2021 Jodeen served as the Head of Partnerships and Strategic Growth at the largest global network of certified benefit corporations (B Lab Global.) She is currently leading the "Investing in Equity and Democracy" an initiative to define a new paradigm for the role of business as a positive force for an Inclusive Democracy and Stakeholder Economy for the Amalgamated Foundation, where she is a Senior Fellow on Movement Resources and Racial Justice.
Jodeen currently sits on the board of directors of several impact investing ventures and philanthropic funds investing in civic engagement, as well as the National Institute for Money in Politics, the Movement Voter Project, the Chicana Empowerment Fund, and the Community Power-Building Fund.
