Linda is a distinguished nonprofit leader who spent ten years as vice president of public policy with the Bay Area Council, the premier CEO-led business association in California. Her work focused on public policy strategy, corporate relations, and economic growth through improved public education, healthcare, and cybersecurity.
Previously Linda was assistant division counsel for Litton Applied Technology in Silicon Valley, focusing on legal risk management. She also managed their department of Environment, Health, and Safety and launched an in-house medical clinic and wellness program. Prior to that, she was assistant division counsel for General Instruments, also in Silicon Valley.
At the University of Illinois, Galliher earned both a J.D. and a master’s degree in labor and employment relations. She also has a master's degree in school psychology and spent seven years as a professional school psychologist. She is a certified personal trainer and a wellness evangelist.
