Connect Your Community

Bring people together by showing up locally

Businesses are deeply rooted in the places where we operate—not just as employers or service providers, but as trusted community anchors. That gives us a unique ability to foster local connections. By investing in our communities, businesses can help create spaces where understanding and respect can thrive.

  • Back local projects and events that celebrate shared values and build understanding across differences.
  • Support local forums for dialogue by funding or hosting nonpartisan town halls and community assemblies that encourage shared problem-solving.
  • Sponsor local journalism and amplify stories that highlight common ground and spark connection.
  • Invest in public spaces—such as parks, community centers, or coworking hubs—that foster connection and collaboration.

Stronger communities start with connection—and business can be the catalyst.

R.A.F.T. for America

R.A.F.T. for America invites people to experience the thrills and inspiration of pulling together, regardless of our differences. Hosted in partnership with whitewater rafting outfitters across the country, free trips on some of America’s most iconic rivers are being offered to people of vastly different political perspectives who are willing to pair up with someone from outside their "bubble" and tackle the river together. The initiative has gained national attention, with CBS News covering a trip on North Carolina’s Nantahala River, PBS Utah documenting participants rafting the Colorado River, and ABC Asheville featuring a journey down the French Broad River that helped bridge political divides through teamwork and shared adventure.
