Membership is open to public and private for-profit companies of all sizes, as well as business associations and trade groups. If you're part of the business community and share our commitment to civic leadership, we welcome your participation.
Membership dues are scaled based on your organization’s size and revenue. We offer accessible tiers for startups, small businesses, mid-sized companies, large corporations, and business associations. Contact us to explore the right fit for your organization.
Yes. We periodically host free public events, webinars, and private briefings that non-members can attend. We also hold a monthly private forum that features guest speakers and confidential strategic discussions, which non-member individuals may join with a modest fee. These are great opportunities to learn more about our approach and connect with our community before making a membership commitment.
Our network includes professionals across a range of roles connected to civic impact and business strategy. This includes leaders in public affairs, government relations, corporate social responsibility, communications, risk management, legal, HR, PAC management, and executive leadership. We also work closely with founders and CEOs at smaller companies and with junior staff at larger firms looking to grow in this space. If your work touches policy, stakeholder engagement, or reputation management, there’s a role for you at Business for America.
Business for America is strictly nonpartisan. We do not endorse candidates or engage in electioneering or campaign fundraising. Just as importantly, we are actively “cross-partisan.” We work with partners and lawmakers across the political spectrum and only advocate for reforms that have bipartisan support. Our members represent a wide range of political views and business interests, united by the belief that our civic health is essential to a thriving economy.
Business for America is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, so membership dues are not tax-deductible. Some companies may be eligible to become a member via Business for America Education Fund, our affiliated 501(c)(3) organization, in which case contributions may be tax-deductible depending on your accounting practices. We recommend consulting your tax advisor to determine eligibility.
