Tavan Pechet is principal of Pechet Advisors where he counsels ultra high net worth families, and serves as a fiduciary for family trusts and businesses. He advises families on best practices and bespoke solutions for their governance, strategy, and management challenges.
Mr. Pechet previously served as CEO of a family office, managing the business and financial operations of a multi-generational family. He also held leadership roles in a family operating business and a venture-backed tech company, practiced law, and clerked for a federal judge. He holds a BA in government from Harvard College, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
Like his clients, Mr. Pechet feels fortunate for his success and for the opportunity to give back. He manages a portfolio of patriotic philanthropy, serves on the national boards of Issue One and Election Reformers Network, and serves as a technical expert on bills to prohibit members of Congress from trading securities.
